Jordan Watt

Jordan has been riding horses since she was old enough to sit up on her own, and her life ever since has revolved around them. She was raised competing in Western pleasure, trail, equitation and showmanship on American Quarter Horses, but has tried her hand at many disciplines and is currently learning to show jump! She has taught lessons at Ballentine for over 8 years, and is currently living near the coast but Ballentine is her favorite place on Earth, so she is back every Sunday to teach. She is passionate about horse care and has worked in many barns and as a large animal vet assistant to learn all that she can. Her favorite thing to do on horseback is run like the wind and blaze new trails through the country, and in her free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her three dogs.

Mara Boston

Mara has been riding since she was 9 years old. She began riding at local barrel races and now is immersing herself in the Tennessee Walking horse industry while also learning ranch riding with her horse Jolene. Additionally, Mara received a scholarship to ride on Saint Andrews University's Western team, but decided to stay local to continue learning at her home barn Ballentine Farms. She has volunteered with many therapeutic riding programs to expand her teaching skills. Mara strives to grow confident riders while sharing her passion for horses and all they have to offer!
